Draft Privacy Notice
Review draft — not in effect
This page is a working outline for privacy, counsel, and business review. It is not an approved privacy notice and must not be relied on as authorization for collection, use, sharing, retention, or international transfer of personal information.
1. Purpose of This Draft
VTradeEvents is in early access. This outline records product data flows that need a final, jurisdiction-appropriate notice before commercial launch.
The controller or processor for an event may vary between the platform, event organizer, exhibitor, identity provider, payment provider, and other service providers. Those roles have not been finalized on this page.
2. Data Categories Under Review
Depending on the workflow and event configuration, the product may handle the following categories. This inventory is descriptive, not permission to process them:
- Sign-in identifiers, profile details, and account-role information
- Event invitations, registrations, eligibility, attendance, and payment status
- Exhibitor, booth, session, meeting, message, and engagement activity when enabled
- Support requests, feedback, and other communications a person chooses to send
- Security, device, request, and error-log information needed to operate and protect the service
3. Decisions Required Before Approval
- Verified legal entity, privacy contact, and controller/processor responsibilities
- Purposes and lawful bases or consent requirements for each data category
- Organizer, exhibitor, service-provider, and subprocessor sharing disclosures
- Retention periods, deletion/export procedures, and request ownership
- Cookie choices, recording consent, age eligibility, and sensitive-data handling
- International transfer safeguards and jurisdiction-specific privacy rights
4. Questions and Requests During Early Access
Avoid submitting sensitive personal information unless an approved event-specific notice and workflow clearly require it. Ask the event organizer what information they receive and why before registering or interacting with an exhibitor.
For a privacy question or request, contact support@vtradeevents.com and include the event name when relevant. This contact route does not replace the final notice or determine which party is legally responsible for the request.
